The “Camiños de Andar ao Mar” route is the perfect way to know Carnota’s coastline and immerse yourself in a unique landscape. Between the lighthouse of Lariño and the large beach of Carnota. It runs through small sands, more rugged areas and the seafaring center of Portocubelo, in Lira.

It is located astride two protected areas of the LIC Rede Natura 2000, that of Monte e Lagoa de Louro and that of Carnota-Monte Pindo, so the sea and its landscapes constitute the great attraction. Along the way, you will discover the biological richness (birds, marine species...) and also some of the tales that shocked the neighborhood and the general public, such as the wrecks of the Ariete and the Prestige. You can also visit Pepe do Cuco's hut, an old fisherman's hut converted into the first automated museum in Galicia.
