Louredo Loockout
The Louredo lookout, located on the road that connects San Mamede and As Paxareiras, is a must-stop for anyone visiting Carnota.
Due to its strategic location, from this viewpoint you can enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in Galicia, The Carnota beach, the Caldebarcos marshes and Mount Pindo all in one scene. In addition to this complex, declared a Place of Common Interest (LIC), you can also see the parishes of Lira, Carnota San Mamede and Fisterra in the background.
This space has a couple of benches in the shape of a half moon, located in the first line, with views of the Atlantic, as well as a garden area with tables and benches and different information panels with information about the surroundings. Occupying the central space is Nando Lestón's work, "Segunda Pel", made up of a set of burnt trees from Monte Pindo, painted and decorated by the artist in order to give them a second life.
The viewpoint of Lira is the first viewpoint that we find when entering the Costa da Morte from the south. Like the Louredo viewpoint, it has fantastic views of Carnota beach and Mount Pindo, the parishes of Lira, Carnota and San Mamede and Fisterra in the background, but from a different perspective. From the viewpoint of Lira you can also see the lighthouse of Lariño and the rocky coast that connects the parishes of Lariño and Lira, which also makes up the first marine reserve in Galicia.
Miradoiro de Lira
The Lira viewpoint is the first viewpoint that we find when entering the Costa da Morte from the south. Like the Louredo viewpoint, it has fantastic views of Carnota beach and Mount Pindo, the parishes of Lira, Carnota and San Mamede and Fisterra in the background, but from a different perspective. From the viewpoint of Lira you can also see the lighthouse of Lariño and the rocky coast that connects the parishes of Lariño and Lira, which also constitutes the first marine reserve in Galicia.
The viewpoint is integrated into the surroundings and has a stone guard rail and a telescope. Nearby there is a rest area with stone tables and benches and a space designed by the sculptor Xosé Cernadas, with replicas of some of the petroglyphs in the area.
The viewpoint is properly signposted from the AC-550 road as you reach Lira. Access is via a two-way secondary road, which narrows in some of its sections.
Bico do Santo
Access to Bico do Santo by following a small trail that starts in Lamas de Castelo.
At the top of Bico do Santo there is a 3-meter stone cross built in 1935 by Domingo Otero Rama, a resident of Pedrafigueira with a marble plaque with the following text:

“Holy Cross, sign of redemption, throne of the sun
of justice and love, an effective key to open them
gates of heaven and sure hope of life
and eternal happiness. i adore you
Domingo Otero Rama (1935)"
Some authors also place on the summit, a small fortress or watchtower during the 10th century where a small chapel dedicated to San Sebastian was later built on its ruins, demolished years later by Napoleonic troops.
