Registrations are open for the Carnota XI Viking Trail

The Sports Area of the Carnota City Council and the O Jerreiro Club are organizing the XI Trail Viquinga next Sunday, May 31, one of the most outstanding sports events in the municipality, open to the participation of people of all ages, both minors and adults.

The race will have different categories and distances adapted to each age group. The categories, routes and starting times can be found in the following table:

All races will start from the Pavillón de Lamas de Castelo, where race number collection tables will also be set up. Race numbers will be handed out from 8:00 a.m. and can be collected up to 15 minutes before the start of the corresponding race.

REGISTRATION

Registrations must be completed through the website www.cronotec.es. The deadline will remain open until May 27 at 11:59 p.m., or until all available places are filled. Registrations will be limited to 400 places for participants in the Medelas and Laxiñas Trails and 200 places for the base categories.

The terms and conditions are as follows:

Price for over 18s: €10

Minors: free registration

Authorization for minors: parental authorization required, available at cronotec.es and carnota.gal

Late registrations and refunds will not be accepted.

The organization also offers a post-race meal, with a menu consisting of salad, tripe, stewed meat, drink, coffee and dessert. The prices are:

• Participants: €10

• Accompanying persons: €15
